Vinyl
Heat transfer vinyl, also known as, iron-on vinyl, t-shirt vinyl or HTV, is a special type of vinyl that can adhere to fabric. The adhesive on the vinyl is activated with a large heat press that applies immense heat and pressure to the garment.
Depending on which type of heat transfer vinyl you're using, iron-on vinyl can last longer than the t-shirt itself! There will be a smooth or puffed texture depending on the type of vinyl you select, as vinyl sits on top of the fabric.
Always remember to turn your garment inside out and wash it on cold. If you accidentally forget to do either, your project might last up to 6 washes. If that happens and your vinyl becomes bubbly and wrinkly, try ironing it again to get it to lie smooth. And never, ever throw anything HTV in a dryer!

Sublimation
Sublimation shirt printing is a specific process of printing that first involves printing onto a special sheet of paper, then transferring that image onto another material (usually polyester or a polyester mix).
The ink is then heated until it disintegrates into the fabric.
The process of sublimation shirt printing costs less than other methods. It lasts longer, and will not crack or peel over time, like other shirt printing methods. It also will not have a texture, as it is ink that has fused into the fabric. But this method will only show on light colored fabrics. We do offer a vinyl sublimation cross as well to offer the fun color options of sublimation on dark fabrics. This method is pictured to the left.
